My Peaceful Morning as a Digital CEO

September 5, 2025 · In: Uncategorized

As a woman who runs a digital business from home, I’ve learned that my mornings are sacred. They set the tone for how I move through my day not just in business, but in my spirit, in my home, and with my children.

For years, I used to roll out of bed and immediately grab my phone. I would scroll, check emails, and instantly step into the hustle. And honestly? It left me drained before the day even began.

Now, my mornings look completely different. They’re slower, softer, and more intentional. I wake up knowing that I’m building a business that allows me to breathe, not burn out. That shift didn’t just happen by accident it’s the result of me choosing peace over pressure.

Time With God Comes First

The very first thing I do every morning is spend time with God. I grab my Bible, journal, or devotional and settle into quiet prayer. Sometimes that looks like me reading a passage and journaling what I hear. Other times, it’s just me sitting in stillness, letting God set my heart right for the day ahead.

This isn’t a rushed checkbox moment it’s an anchor. It reminds me that my worth and my success don’t come from algorithms, sales notifications, or productivity. My peace and provision come from Him.

When I skip this step, I feel it. I notice more stress, more distraction, more anxiety creeping into my day. But when I make this time sacred? The rest of my day flows with clarity.

Quiet Walks & Movement

After my quiet time, I love to go for a walk. Nothing intense just a simple walk outside. The fresh air clears my head, helps me breathe deeper, and often sparks creative ideas.

Sometimes I listen to worship music. Sometimes I listen to nothing at all, just the birds and the breeze. The movement is light, but it energizes me in a way coffee alone never could.

If you’re a fellow entrepreneur, this might be something to add into your own morning routine. Even a 10-minute walk can reset your mood and give you space to hear yourself think.

A Business That Works While I Rest

One of the most peaceful parts of my mornings as a digital CEO is checking in and realizing I’ve already made a sale.

This is the beauty of building a soft life business: income that doesn’t depend on me working around the clock. My systems are set up so that while I was sleeping, someone else discovered my offer, clicked through my sales page, and made a purchase.

I don’t say this to brag. I share it because for years, I didn’t believe this was possible for me. I thought I had to grind, post all day, and constantly chase clients. But now? I see firsthand what happens when you have one clear offer, one simple system, and one daily content flow.

That’s why I can wake up, check my Stripe or PayPal, and see sales already made before I’ve even opened my laptop. That’s not just incomethat’s peace.

Homeschooling Mid-Mornings

By mid-morning, I transition into homeschooling my children. This is one of the reasons I chose this business model—it allows me to be present with my kids without sacrificing income.

I don’t have to choose between being a mother and being a CEO. My mornings flow between teaching math and reading, and checking in on my business. This balance wouldn’t be possible if I was tied to a traditional job or an overly complicated business model.

Instead, I run a simple system that fits into my lifestyle, not the other way around.

My Simple Content Routine

When it’s time to step into business, I don’t spend hours overthinking content. I follow a simple flow that keeps me visible, consistent, and aligned with the women I’m called to serve.

Here’s what that looks like for me:

  1. Plan in Trello – Every week, I outline my content ideas in Trello. It’s where I track what videos I want to record, what emails I need to send, and what’s coming up on Pinterest. Trello keeps me from feeling scattered.

  2. Create Once, Repurpose Often – I record a YouTube video, and then I can repurpose parts of it for Pinterest pins, emails, or even short clips. One piece of content becomes many.

  3. Stay Consistent, Not Perfect – I don’t aim for perfection. I aim for showing up. The truth is, my content doesn’t have to be flawless to be impactful—it just needs to be consistent and authentic.

This routine takes me about 1–2 hours. That’s it. No endless content hamster wheel. Just simple steps that create flow and profit.

Why Slow Mornings Work

Here’s the truth: my mornings are not about squeezing in more tasks. They’re about creating a rhythm that protects my peace.

I’m not chasing a million things. I’m not managing ten different offers. I’m not glued to my phone or laptop from sunup to sundown.

Instead, my soft morning routine allows me to:

  • Stay grounded in my faith.

  • Enjoy quiet time and movement.

  • Be present for my children.

  • Let my business systems run in the background.

  • Step into work with clarity and calm.

This is what I call being a Digital CEO of the Soft Life choosing a business that honors my life, instead of one that drains it.

A Morning That Leads to Peace + Profit

When I look at my mornings now, they are nothing like the ones I had years ago. Back then, I woke up stressed and rushed. Now, I wake up with space, peace, and freedom.

And the best part? This routine doesn’t just feel good—it works. My business continues to grow. My income continues to flow. And I get to lead both my family and my business from a place of rest.

If you’ve been searching for peaceful morning ideas or a work-from-home routine that actually fits your life, I want you to know it’s possible. You don’t need to hustle harder. You don’t need to start from scratch. You just need a system that works while you live your life.
